The latest results from FIS demonstrate Australia HUGE potential to do well in International BoarderCross and Big Air, with 24 riders in the top 150 in SBX, 18 in Big Air, 4 in Half-pipe 3 in Slalom and 3 in GS.

We now wait with great hope that the IOC will announce SBX as an Olympic sport - and we have great medal hopes for 2006!!

Damon Haylor and Emily Thomas led the Australians in World Championships in SBX - with the rest of the team not far behind. Australia has great depth in this discipline, and we are waiting to see great results at both Junior Worlds and Topolino this year. Big Air is a relatively new event - and the Aussies are flying high!!

Unfortunately there was no Female event at Worlds (very sexist!) but we still have 4 girls in the top 10 in the world!!
