The snowboard community would no doubt be aware by now that Jonette Wilton has stepped down as Chair of the Snowboard Committee. Jonette has given over two years of dedicated and passionate energy towards SAL’s first ever snowboard discipline committee.

Jonette has worked tirelessly throughout her time as Chair and is largely responsible for the significant increase in registered competitors and FIS ranked athletes that SAL Snowboard currently enjoys. On behalf of the Board of Directors and all the riders we thank Jonette for pioneering the Snowboard discipline committee and paving the way for the new Chair, Jayson Onley, and a new era in snowboarding.

Jayson has stepped into the Chair position and has already provided valuable guidance to SAL as it formalizes the snowboard committee structure. Jayson has big shoes to fill but comes to the role with a great deal of experience and credibility within the snowboard industry.
