Shaw 33rd in Tandadalen PGS

Australian rider Johanna Shaw has finished in 33rd place in the
second parallel giant slalom event of the 2003/04 World Cup
season, held in Tandadalen, Sweden.
Shaw defeated former World Cup overall champion Manuela Riegler
of Austria in the first qualification round, but missed out on
the second round on times.
The 21-year-old finished in 45th place in the opening PGS of the
season in Soelden, Austria, at the start of October.
The Tandadalen event was won by Daniela Mueli, who has dominated
the bginning of the season. The Swiss rider has not been off the
podium, finishing third in PGS and second in PSL in Soelden,
then winning the PSL in Landgraaf, Holland, at the end of
October. The silver medal went to Sara Fischer of Sweden, with
Doresia Krings of Austria in third place.
The men’s PGS was won by Stefan Kalschuetz of Austria, with
Gilles Jaquet of Switzerland second and Dieter Krassnig of
Austria third.
