Johanna Shaw has ridden to another personal best, finishing in 18th place in a World Cup parallel giant slalom in Kreischberg, Austria.

Shaw missed out on a berth in the head-to-head finals rounds by just two places, but registered her second top 20 result for the season.

The result moves her up to 28th on the World Cup standings.

The race was won by Daniela Meuli of Switzerland, cementing her position at the top of the World Cup standings.

Shaw's team-mate Emanuel Oppliger failed to finish in the qualifying round of the men's event.
