The Steering Committee of the Constitutional Review met in Sydney on 31st May. There appears to be ongoing concerns from some sectors of our membership base that the current Committee may be perceived as being other than impartial.

After some discussion it was determined that the path toward an appropriate Constitutional structure for our sport might be better navigated by an independent and external party.

The SSA board has since approved the cessation of the current Review and the establishment of an independent and external Governance Structure review for SSA.

The Terms of Reference for the independent review will be settled in consultation with SSA and the Report will be to the respective Boards of SSA and ASC.
