Adrian Costa has missed a finals berth by one place for the second event in a row, finishing 13th in qualifying in Lake Placid over the weekend.

After a slow start to the season, Adrian’s form has picked up significantly, and he has been unlucky not to make at least one of the final rounds over the past two weeks.

OWI team-mate Michael Robertson finished in 22nd place, but remains the best ranked of the Australian men at 18th place, with Adrian moving up to 22nd.

In the women’s event, Manuela Berchtold was again the best, finishing in 16th place, two spots ahead of team-mate Jane Sexton. Maria Despas was 30th.
