Memberships/Registration options which are available are as follows:

1.  Single Membership: this is a standard membership which provides you with Full membership of SSA, voting rights at SSA AGM and Special General Meetings, Regular E-News updates and invitations to SSA functions.
2. Discipline Registration: If you want to compete in any snowsports events you must be registered as a competitor with your respective discipline committee. To be eligible to register as a competitor you must first of all be a member of SSA.
3. FIS Registration: In order to obtain FIS points from competition in official FIS listed snowsport events and an international ranking; an athlete must become registered with the international body for snowsports - Federation Internationale de Ski (FIS). The registration number allocated by FIS will stay with the athlete for his or her racing career. To be eligible to register with FIS you must first of all be a member of SSA and then registered as a competitor with your discipline.

You are able to upgrade your registration at anytime (please note that there is a late fee if you register with FIS after June 30, 2005). For example if you have become a member of SSA but later decide to take part in an event you can log onto your SSA membership account and upgrade to a Discipline Registration. You must however follow the order above, you cannot become FIS registered without first being a member of SSA or having a Competitor Registration.

All registrations and memberships are valid until April 30, 2006.

If you require further information regarding SSA membership and registrations please visit the FAQ section of your membership area.
