Former Alpine skier Jenny Owens recently competed in the Crossmax series in Saas-Fee, Switzerland. After winning her first heat Jenny missed out on progressing past the second heat. Jenny finished 7th in her Saab Salomon International Crossmax series debut, against a world cup start list.



In the second Competition in Saas-fee Jenny won all her heats right up to the semi-finals, making her the favorite going into the final.

The final was tightly contested from start to finish with 3 competitors tussling for the lead. Unfortunately Jenny lost her balance in the last turn causing her to lose some speed entering the final jump and placing her in 3rd.

Jenny will be competing in skier cross World Cup events during the northern winter with the first being in Kreischberg, Austria in January.
