The past year has seen some significant changes at Ski & Snowboard
Australia (SSA), none more so than a new name!
Our performance on the snow by our athletes is beginning to be
matched off the snow by our small but hard working administration,
as we strive for a new level of professionalism, accountability,
relevance and transparency.
While the focus of SSA remains firmly on the development of
competitive snow sports, we are welcoming past competitors, members
and stakeholders to again join SSA and support our developing
athletes.
SSA’s current funding is adequate to cover core administration and a
select range of quality development programmes. Accordingly, all
funds raised through “membership” are allocated directly to athlete
coaches and programmes. By becoming a member of SSA, you are not
only making a direct contribution towards athlete programs, more
importantly you have an opportunity to stay involved, be informed
and up to date with all the latest news on winter sport athletes
from Australia.
SSA has a number of affiliated state bodies, which offer reciprocal
membership arrangements and offer an alternative membership avenue.
These are NSWSA (www.nswski.com.au) and Snowsports ACT (www.snowsportsact.com.au).
Registered competitors who are members of a race club will
automatically become members via their race clubs membership and as
such do not need to return the attached form. Ski & Snowboard
Australia holds a number of major events and functions during the
year, at which members can receive priority offers, discounts and
invitations. Our web site www.skiingaustralia.org.au is constantly
being updated and I urge you to check back regularly.
Please complete the attached membership form. I urge you to update
contact details and sign on for what will no doubt be a great
2004/2005 year for Skiing and Snowboarding in Australia...» click

Yours sincerely
