Brauer crashes out

Australian skier Jono Brauer has made a spectacular exit from the combined event, crashing out midway through the downhill leg at Sestriere Borgata.
The 24-year-old from Sydney caught an edge off a jump just 50 seconds into his run and speared into a safety net at high speed. Fortunately he emerged unscathed.

Aerial skiers set to fly as moguls toil on

AUSTRALIA'S hotshot female aerial team completed the best day of training — their first on the Sauze d'Oulx course — without mishap. But the defending Olympic champion Alisa Camplin had to rush through some extra runs to complete her full schedule leading up to her full full manoeuvre.

Day 5: Can Aussie Dale deliver?

World number one ranked mogul skier, Dale Begg-Smith, is Australia’s hottest medal prospect on Day 5 of the Torino Games. The 21-year-old former Canadian won’t be drawn on medal predictions but admits,” based on previous results I’m sure that (a podium finish) doesn’t seem too unfeasible.”
