Outstanding Bright just short of a medal

Torah Bright has overcome a shoulder injury to finish fifth in the
women’s snowboard halfpipe final at Bardonecchia. Bright’s shoulder
popped out in the first run of the final, and she required
treatment before her second run.

set to attack combined

Australian Jono Brauer is all set to take on the world's best in a
true test of all-round alpine skiing ability, the combined event, on

Day 4:
Brauer confident for combined

Three Australians will be in action on Day 4 of the Torino Games in
skiing, biathlon and luge.
Jono Brauer makes his Olympic debut in the combined alpine skiing
event. While the 24-year-old from Sydney is known as a slalom
specialist, his recent downhill form has been outstanding, including
the three practice runs before the stand-alone downhill on Day 2.
