Official Australian Teams will be sent to most of the major competitions in Europe this season (details included below). Senior Team members will be training and competing in small groups at various locations throughout the winter, including Austria, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, and Norway. These groups will only come together for the major competitions. The Junior Team will be based in Sweden from December, in preparation for the World Junior Championships in Solleftea in February. The qualification standards for each of these events are set by Skiing Australia based on FIS points.

The general competition goals for most of the major events is achieve results in the top half of the field. The exception is the World Junior Championships, where the aim is to get results in the top 30.
