Jono Brauer - Brad Wall Update

Jono Brauer has won a FIS race in Pampeago-Tesero, Italy, in a confidence-building outing in the lead-up to the Madonna di Campiglio slalom, scheduled for December 15. The 22-year-old Thredbo technical specialist also performed strongly in a Europa Cup giant slalom in Aal, Norway, finishing 21st in a field peppered with World Cup racers. He was 2.19 seconds overall behind race winner Hannes Reiter of Austria.

SAL/NSWIS skier Brad Wall finished in 45th place in the Italian FIS race, but did not finish the first run in the Aal, while team-mate Luke Deane did not qualify for the second run.
