Call for Nominations to the SSA Athlete's Commission

Nominations are now open for those individuals who wish to nominate for a position on the SSA Athletes Commission.

The SSA Board recently undertook to review the process by which the Athletes Commission is composed, while reaffirming the importance of having an Athlete’s Commission representative on the Board. It was deemed that the previous bylaws were too restrictive in terms of which individuals could be on the Commission. It was also noted that having active athletes on the Commission often resulted in an inability to attend meetings or to remain engaged in discussions due to heavy training and travel schedules.
